Light Switch System

Blue Steel - GSL Gallery

 Design and fabrication of a set of experimental light switch interfaces developed for the exhibition Blue Steel at GSL Gallery. The work explores the relationship between industrial manufacturing processes and tactile interaction.

The components are housed in CNC-machined aluminium enclosures, with machining marks intentionally left visible to highlight the production process.

The system consists of two interface studies: a rectangular push-button LED dimmer with integrated twist dimming function, and a square mechanical foot-operated switch exploring tactile activation and material feedback.
